If I can begin using any word to describe my 2013 it would have to be transition.
I’ve felt like the past 365 days were a work of transition, yet everything has fit so beautifully together. It was designed this way before I even had it all planned out. This year was full of the most exciting moments. The ones that we will never go through again.
This year was crazy busy and we survived it!
In January I traveled with my best friend Sarah to Florida – we attended eight weddings this year – I took my last family trip to Destin, Florida, as a single lady – I had three wedding showers of my own followed by three of my best friends – the Wegmiller’s got a new puppy, Wyatt – Seth Graduated – Taylor Graduated – Open House for Taylor – my best friend Brittany surprised me – Brittany had a baby girl Rylan, and her best friend/husband got deployed to Afghanistan – We celebrated our 8th year together – WE GOT MARRIED – I traveled out of the US for the first time – We honeymooned in Punta Cana, DR – We bought a puppy, Mia – My best friend and I got married three weeks apart – I had my bachelorette party and threw hers – we showed our love for Jesus just days before our wedding and got baptized – we started a small church for newly weds at NMC and are blown away at how good God is – we made new friends – we continued to follow IWU Soccer – We traveled to Marion every weekend from September through November to watch games – Seth started his own business in May with Eden Creative – we moved into our house together – my first dog of fourteen years passed away – we made new holiday traditions – I did Feed My Starving Children for the third year in a row, this year with Seth three different days – we spent our first Christmas together –
Overall we have been blown away by God’s plan! This year my Faith has tested me and I’ve grown more than ever. I made many transitions from becoming a single girl to a wife. I’ve loved every moment that God has blessed me with and continues to do so. By far my best memory is of our wedding! Memories flow everyday and I wish that I could have that day back.
2014 has plans of it’s own. God’s working in our hearts everyday for the big decisions He has laid ahead before us!
So let me take you on my journey of 2013 through pictures… It’s been a fun ride, but I know my God had every plan in place for this new year. It’s been over-whelming, new, yet completely a blast.
…now we are off to celebrate just the way we brought in 2013! Happy New Year!!
